The English Distillery King Charles III Coronation Whisky

This is a very limited edition decanter of single malt whisky produced by The English Distillery to commemorate the Coronation of King Charles III on 6th May 2023.

One of only 5000 bottles released, this rare one-off expression was released as part of The English Distillery’s Royal range. This single malt has been matured in a mix of bourbon and PX sherry casks. It is presented in a decanter that has been especially engraved for this historic occasion.

Nose: Aromas of toffee, cherries and baked apples
Palate: Nuts, chocolate and figs

Award winning English Whisky
The English Distillery uses slow processes, traditional equipment and honest, local ingredients. James Nelstrop's original goal for the distillery was to create England's finest single-malt whisky. Pure Breckland water is drawn from the spring underneath the distillery and the barley is sourced locally.

The Distillery
In 2005, co-founder James Nelstrop decided to make a life-long dream a reality and submitted a planning application for England’s first whisky distillery in over 100 years. It was officially opened in the summer of 2007 by his Majesty King Charles III. Iain Henderson, a renowned distiller formerly at Laphroaig, led the distillation of the first whisky. The business is now led by James Nelstrop’s son Andrew who is building a legacy of exemplary English whisky with approachable, world class spirits.
