White Peak Distillery is Derbyshire's first full-scale distillery, makers of award-winning Wire Works Whisky, best-selling Shining Cliff Gin and high quality rum. Established in 2016 by Max and Claire Vaughan. Situated at a UNESCO World Heritage Site, a former wire works near River Derwent, the team craft English whisky as well as rum and gin. The Wire Works brand is named after the unique location.

Their on-site whisky process, from mashing malt to slow fermentation, influenced by local yeast, creates a unique flavour profile.
