Filey Bay Peated Finish Single Malt Whisky is an impressive whisky. Distilled in Yorkshire, the whisky was first matured in a selection of first-fill bourbon barrels, before a undergoing a secondary maturation in peated casks. Bottled with its natural colour at 46% ABV.

First released in 2021, the first batch of this single malt was Filey Bay's fastest selling finished whisky ever with the second batch wining a highly coveted World Whisky Master award. Batch #3 more than measures up to the previous releases - it's subtle and softly smoky but with bucketloads of character.
Mostly matured in first-fill bourbon casks filled in the winter of 2018 before a secondary maturation in peated casks from Islay, this single malt is well worth trying, especially if you like the style of malts from the west coast of Scotland.
