How to find the Distillery

The DropWorks Distillery is located at a wonderful place called Welbeck where you can truly spend a whole day (or longer) at their incredible art galleries, award winning farm shop, cafe, explore their brewery and school of artisan food, and much, much more!

The DropWorks Distillery is located at the Stone Shed at Welbeck in Nottinghamshire. Full address is: DropWorks Distillery, Stone Shed, Welbeck, Worksop, Nottinghamshire, S80 3LX.

We recommend downloading the What3words app in advance and using the location reference Streak.when.champions to find the distillery precisely. Best to download in advance as mobile signal can be patchy in the area!

We recommend using the Lady Margaret Drive entrance, as it is the most direct route for our visitors (instead of the main entrance).

There is a security gate near the junction with the A60 which is monitored 24/7 an intercom to the security office in case of an emergency or issue.

Travelling by road

You can reach the Distillery when travelling via road and find Welbeck located between the M1 and the A1, off the A60, 3 miles to the South of Worksop. 

Travelling by train

The DropWorks Distillery has good connections to a variety of train stations. If you do not have access to a car then we do recommend pre-booking taxis.

• Worksop – this is the local railway station, it is around a 15 min taxi journey from the DropWorks Distillery.
• Retford – is approximately 20 minutes away by taxi. Trains from London Kings Cross go direct to Retford and take around 1hr 20 minutes.
• Chesterfield – en route from London St Pancras to Sheffield, Chesterfield is around 30 minutes away by taxi.
• Whitwell – a 5 min taxi journey is on the Robin Hood Railway Line which connects to Nottingham. This is a local train route so journey times do vary and may take longer than using the main train stations (Retford and Chesterfield).

We have a 30-day return policy, which means you have 30 days after receiving your item to request a return.
