Ad Gefrin Tácnbora Oloroso Sherry Cask Finish Whisky, 70cl
This is the fifth release in Ad Gefrin's limited cask finish series. Their flagship Tácnbora has undergone a secondary maturation in Oloroso hogsheads for nine months. The 20-year-old hogsheads have imparted enticing dry, rich sherry notes of raisin, cinder toffee, coffee, fig roll and leather adding a nutty, sweet, dried fruit quality to Tácnbora’s signature character of honey, vanilla, and gentle spice.
Bottled at a cask strength of 57.2%, non-chill filtered and never artificially coloured, this distinctive dram explores another cask finish and the influence on the flavour of their much-loved signature blend.
Tácnbora is the distillery's Standard-Bearer in every sense. As the first spirit from Ad Gefrin it tells the story of who they are and embodies their inspirations in one blend.
