Ever wanted to see how a real working distillery operates? Book yourself onto a Henstone Distillery tour and find out. Set on a 96-acre working farm on the Shropshire borders, Henstone is a genuine family affair, producing multi-award-winning whisky, gin, rum, vodka and brandy. On the tour you will meet "Hilda", their 1,000-litre pot and column hybrid still, and learn how the team distil and mature their spirits from grain to glass.

Tours are hosted in small groups of no more than 10 people, so you get a proper, personal experience, finishing with a generous tasting in the farmhouse.

Duration: approximately 2 hours
Days and times: Fridays and Saturdays at 12:30 (roughly twice a month; reduced through winter)
Group size: maximum 10 people

What's included?
☆ A complimentary Henstone G&T (or equivalent) on arrival
☆ An introduction to the history and founding of the distillery
☆ A guided tour of the distillery and warehouses, with a look at the maturing stock
☆ An insight into how they distil their gin, whisky, rum, vodka and brandy
☆ A tasting of more than six of their spirits (approximately 10ml each)
☆ A branded tasting glass to keep
☆ 10% off any Henstone products bought on the day

Ticket options
Choose a single adult ticket or a pair of adult tickets, for either a Friday or a Saturday tour. Friday tours are £17.50 per person; Saturday tours are £20.00 per person.

A little extra from us: buy a Henstone tour and we will email you a personal £3.00 discount code to spend on any full-size 70cl bottle of Henstone whisky here at Digital Distiller. A perfect way to take a bottle home after your visit.

Designated drivers and non-drinkers: anyone not drinking will be offered a sealed 5cl bottle of the spirit of their choice to take home. Limited soft drinks are available.

Please note: tours are strictly for over-18s only, and photo ID may be requested for the tasting (Challenge 25 is in operation). The tour takes place on a working farm with uneven ground and around eight steps up to the farmhouse, so please wear flat, sturdy shoes and warm, waterproof clothing. If access is a concern, please contact the distillery before booking; a virtual tour can be arranged where needed. Well-behaved dogs on leads are welcome.

After placing your order you will be emailed your ticket(s) together with instructions on how to book your preferred date and time with the distillery.
