Retribution Distilling Summertime Gin, Soundings, 70cl

Retribution Distilling Summertime Gin had a large amount of strawberries added to the still to steep over night before adding mint the following morning before distilling as normal.

This has resulted in a gin with a intense strawberry aroma with an underlying juniper note.

Soundings Range

Sailor’s take soundings at sea - exploring the oceans to measure depth and test uncharted waters. For Retribution Distilling, these are small batch experiments, collaborations, limited-edition releases, and anything else they can dream up in the distillery.

Retribution produce their own spirit for their Vodka and Gin from grain to glass. Its made using heads, tails and low wines from whisky production. This makes both their Vodka and Gin very unique, as most of the vodka and gin sold in the UK is produced using alcohol industrially produced by multi national companies.

Retribution first distill their vodka/base spirit through their direct fired copper pot stills, then they use their custom made stainless vodka still with a 2.5m packed column to produce a spirit of 96.4% abv. They then dilute this down to 44% for their vodka or re-distill it in our gin still to produce our gin.
