Cotswolds Distillery Peated Cask aged in ex-peated quarter casks: much smaller than your standard whisky cask. These smaller casks add a delicate smokiness to the whisky - harmonious and well integrated rather than a beast of a peat monster. Distinctive and stylish.

1 x Ludlow Islay Peated Cask Finish, 70cl, 42% Alc.

Ludlow Islay Peated Cask Finish whisky is a medium-bodied, light in colour, with fragrant notes of heather-honey, butterscotch, and crème caramel, balanced with a touch of peatiness and hints of peaty smoke from the Islay cask.

1 x Henstone Ex-Peated Cask, 70cl, 46% Alc.

Henstone Ex-Peated whisky has been aged for 3 years in ex-Jim Beam (bourbon) casks and then transferred to a 125 litre ex-peated quarter cask for finishing. This is the second release of Ex-Peated and is finished in the Islay cask for just under 1 year. The resulting whisky has picked up the traditional peaty characteristics of Islay whisky but not in an overpowering way, this really compliments the spirit. This expression has not been chill filtered or coloured. Only 107 bottles in this entire batch!
