Create a classy English version of the Rusty Nail cocktail by mixing equal parts Sacred English Peated Whisky with Sacred Orange Whisky Liqueur.
The Rusty Nail took its first steps in public in the mid- to late-1930s, but has experienced a well-deserved resurgence in recent yers. This version uses Sacred Distillery's stylish English Whisky Liqueur, a balance of whisky, subtle fruit and spice market aromas, and combines it with the log-fire smoke, clove and vanilla of Sacred's Peated English Whisky.
Couldn't be easier to make! Take a heavy based whisky glass and add a shot each of Sacred English Whisky Liqueur, Peated English Whisky and a few ice cubes.

This Gold Medal winning English Whisky spends time in ex-bourbon barrels before being recasked for further maturation and flavour development in sherry hogshead casks: old Pedro Ximenez casks from Bodegas Navarro in Montilla, Spain. These nutty and rich nuances give a truly deep and satisfying single malt. Log-fire smoke from a country pub, sea salt, dried pineapple, clove spice, sweet vanilla and Christmas cake.
