Filey Bay Moscatel Sherry Cask, 70cl, 47.3% Alc.

Elegant Spanish sweetness meets spirited Yorkshire character, as the distillery's light and fruity house style matures in ex-Moscatel Sherry Hogsheads. Soft, Sweet & Fruity with flavours of chocolate dipped orange slices, toasted nuts, caramel, honey and apricot.

Filey Bay STR Cask, 70cl, 47.3%

Filey Bay STR Red Wine Cask is aged in Shaved, Toasted and Re-charred ex-Red Wine casks bringing a balanced and nuanced maturation. The use of these casks creates the perfect environment for their light and creamy whisky to draw out the delicious red fruit flavours from the wood. Soft and malty with flavours of biscuit, marzipan, boiled sweets and red fruits.

All made from field to bottle with 100% homegrown barley

Made using a solera-style approach, technically a fractional blending method, every time Filey Bay STR Red Wine and Moscatel Casks are bottled, the casks holding the whisky are incrementally backfilled with casks carefully selected from the warehouse. This keeps the flavour profile consistent, while allowing the whisky to gain age, depth and complexity.
