Doppergänger Aperitivo is an Italian style bitter citrus liqueur made in Battersea and is England's answer to Aperol. It makes an incredible Spritz or also works as the bitter in a Negroni, especially when paired with Doghouse's Renegade Gin.

On the nose, you’ll find bright citrus and hints of aromatic roots. Its bittersweet flavour is led by citrus and rosella (hibiscus) with earthy, herbaceous undertones and the finish is irresistibly moreish. And as the fantasy art label suggests - your playful side just might make an appearance after a few sips, so you may as well “Unleash your Doppelgänger”!

Brit Spritz

In a large wine glass, add...

  • 1 Strawberry, cut into quarters
  • Fill with ice
  • 15ml Elderflower Cordial (so it coats the ice and spreads throughout)
  • 50ml Doppelgänger Aperitivo
  • 75ml Sparkling Wine/Prosecco (don’t add too much prosecco to keep the balance of the drink)
  • Top with soda water

London Negroni

Into a tumbler, add..

  • 25ml of Renegade Gin
  • 30ml of Doppelgänger Aperitivo
  • 20ml of Sweet Vermouth
  • Add ice

London Sbagliato

In a large wine glass, add...

  • 50ml of Doppelgänger Aperitivo
  • 25ml of Sweet Vermouth
  • Fill glass with ice
  • Top with 75ml of Prosecco
Stir gently and garnish with an orange slice. Stir down to required dilution and garnish with an orange wedge. Give the drink a good stir through and garnish with a slice of orange.
