Made from the same new make spirit as the first release, Retribution Distilling's 2nd Release of their Single Malt whisky has been aged in an ex Buffalo Trace Bourbon quarter cask for 3 years 4 months.

Big notes of orange/citrus and vanilla on the nose with Retribution's characteristic thick creamy mouth feel with a slight warming pepperiness to the finish.

In response to customer feedback, Rich, the Distiller, has reduced the alc. down from release PR001 to a respectable 53.3% to allow it to open up and be more  approachable.

It really is amazing the impact the previous bourbon producers liquid can have on the whisky. With only 170 bottles of this actually produced, this is very limited availability indeed.
