This 4 year old english single malt whisky was distilled to commemorateĀ the Platinum Jubilee of Queen Elizabeth the 2nd. Distilled at London based Bimber distillery, this expression has been matured in ex-bourbon casks for 4 years before being bottled at a strength of 51.8% alc.
Part of a limited small batch release, only 1,952 bottles of this whisky were produced, to reflect the fact that the Queen ascended to the throne in 1952.

Bimber Distillery is a craft micro-distillery based in North London. 'Bimber' means moonshine in Polish. The founders of the distillery emigrated to London from Poland in 2003 to start their business. Their first casks of whisky were laid down on 26th May 2016 and the inaugural release of their single malt whisky (The First) was bottled three years later in September of 2019. The distillery usually bottles its whisky in small batches or from single casks. Among them are mainly Ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks but also fresh Virgin Oak casks.
