Wylye Distillery

Sam Barber, the Owner & Distiller at Wylye founded this small, independent distillery at Windmill Farm, a repurposed collection of old farm buildings with its own water source, tucked away in the ancient village of Wylye. The focus is solely on producing unpeated single malt whisky.

Wylye Distillery sits in an area rich in agricultural and malting history. Barley grown at Manor Farm makes the short trip to Warminster Maltings. Here it is isolated and malted before leaving for Windmill Farm where whisky production begins.

Two traditional hand hammered copper pot stills house a balanced slow double distillation, promoting copper contact. Vapours rise through a long swan neck producing a malty spirit with notes of orchard fruit.

Their first whiskies will reach the required 3 years of age in July 2026.
