Bimber Re-Charred #143 Limited Edition Single Cask Release, 70cl
This very limited edition English Whisky was distilled at London-based Bimber Distillery with the first casks being laid down on 26th of May 2016. This expression has been matured in a single re-charred oak cask before being bottled in October 2020.
Only 299 individually numbered bottles produced.
The deep char and caramelisation of the wood sugars result in a single malt whisky of exceptional quality. Displaying balanced flavours of burnt toffee and piquant spices in perfect harmony with the distillery's characteristically fruity London spirit.
Bimber is a whisky distillery located in London. 'Bimber' means moonshine in Polish. The founders of the distillery emigrated to London from Poland in 2003 to start their business. The first casks were filled in May 2016. Since 2019, the distillery has been bottling Whisky in small batches or from single casks. Among them are mainly Ex-Bourbon and Sherry casks but also fresh Virgin Oak casks.
