Penderyn Distillery

Penderyn Distillery began producing their award-winning single malt whiskies and spirits at their first distillery in the foothills of the Brecon Beacons National Park. Penderyn village provides the distillery with its own supply of fresh natural spring water.

Their unique copper single-pot still, installed in 2000, produces an initial spirit at 92% alcohol, meaning Penderyn's whiskies are light and fruity, but hugely flavoursome. To begin with their whiskies were finished in Madeira casks, but the range now includes  sherry casks, port casks, bourbon casks and peated casks among others.

Penderyn Whisky has deservingly gained a worldwide reputation for its range of whiskies, winning over 100 Double Gold/Gold/Masters awards.
