The distillery's copper pot stills, reminiscent of traditional Scottish designs, are pivotal in shaping the whisky’s final character. Copper’s catalytic properties help remove unwanted compounds, resulting in a smoother, more refined spirit.

Our distillation process is a blend of art and science, requiring careful control and a deep understanding of the intricate interactions between the ingredients.

The whisky spirit is stored in oak barrels, carefully sourced from the finest international cask specialists.  A variety of different casks are available to suit different palates. The Whisky Room, designed to allow the local climate to permeate the building, is sheltered in a valley surrounded by lush greenery and fauna. There is no better location for the casks to mature.

Every step of the whisky's journey is careful, laborious and meticulous. They have harnessed the best elements of brewing, distilling and Lancastrian spirit into one very special product.
