Wire Works Caduro X Single Malt Whisky, 70cl
Ten years in any business feels like a significant milestone. The White Peak team wanted want to mark it with a release that reflects the 'DNA of making' - capturing not just where they are today, but everything that’s shaped them along the way.
Wire Works Caduro X is a celebration of White Peak's 10 year production milestone. It reflects a legacy of innovation and craftsmanship rooted at The Wireworks; a place of production dating back 150 years, and now the team mark a new decade in that story.
For this limited-edition release, they've worked with both their ‘regular-cuts’ and ‘alt-cuts’ single malts, using the alternate distillation cut-points to lean into a brighter profile, carrying a tropical fruit character and a subtle uptick in peat. To add further depth, they’ve used ‘special waters’ to proof the whisky down; a technique where they mature their low-strength spirit in oak casks to access the range of water-soluble flavours and textures that high strength spirits can’t reach.
